This hospital is a prime example of profit over patients. As one of the many for profit hospitals within Southern Tucson, the quality of care and services provided here is by far among the worse. Although, the staff does the absolute best to work with the available resources and they really want to help people, this hospital does absolutely nothing to support their staff. First visit was a 9 hour wait before we were seen by an MD. The second visit, was just as long with a blood glucose of 331 and hypotension and still no act... read more

Hi Neighbors, Glenn Scott the Painter here... My experience at Banner Medical Center was top shelf both times that I stayed... I had colon cancer surgery there performed by Dr Hadi Najafian. He and everyone on staff treated me with respect and like a rock star. Both of my visits by the 3rd day I got to know everyone from doctors, nurses, staff and even the girl that cleaned my room, I realized that no one was working there for the money... They're all answering a calling in their lives, everyone of them... I t... read more
It’s the season for sickness for many, especially the elderly. Please, please, whatever you do, please avoid coming to this hospital or letting an elderly loved one come to this hospital if they have any kind of illness that requires them to stay. . I have never witnessed such poor health care given to anyone in my life. My family member had Covid and had the unfortunate experience of being admitted into this hospital by necessity. They were told they tested positive for Covid, but has been vaccinated, as I’m assuming the ... read more
I went to the ER because my BP was 162/109 and at 69 YO I have some Aortic Calcification which is a risky combo. I waited for two hours while younger, healthier people who arrived well after I did are led into treatment rooms. The general attitude is who cares. They all smile and blow you off. This disrespectful and dangerous attitude only serves to raise my BP more. The result is that I will have to go to another town south of Lovelnd to get quality treatment.
Dr. Peter Ott has treated me since I became ill with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and Congestive Heart Failure in 2005. I received my first AICD (pacemaker/defibrillator) one year later and have remained 100% paced since. Dr. Ott has changed the device 3 times and performed surgery to remove a defective lead from my heart. I have since been diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. It took months to get it under control but Dr. Ott never gave up. There have been many times that my cardiologists (I have 2 others) and PCP did not th... read more
I went to Banner ER on Sept 21st after 2steps of registering said the wait time will be 6 hours. We will wait for over 3 hours, There was very cold and the crowd in the room boy are noisy and I am suffering from stomach pain. Feel uncomfortable and can not breathe or rest. Then, my husband asked the front desk how long have to wait, and said that there is not bed enough and another 10 more hours to wait. That place is unorganized at all. My different than before. the waiting room is dirty, the restroom is dirty too. Endi... read more
A 4 1/2 hour wait with no indication of being called back for a bed. I understand that severity of issues determines priority but with number of people streaming in, my chance of being seen by doctor was slim so I asked that my name be taken off list & person behind counter said “ there are only 3 on top of you “. What? In 4. 1/2 hours you were not following that priority. She handed me a form to sign that said Refusal of Service… more discussion…. I signed but also stated I was never called. Sad… I’ve had 2 other family me... read more
