This was my first time seeing Dr. Mencel and he was extremely thorough and asked many questions to ensure he had all the information. He spent a lot of time with me listening and explained what he was thinking. I felt very comfortable and like I was in good hands.

This man has saved my life with his dedication to finding new chemotherapy drugs over more than 5 years now when my body got used to the drugs and was no longer fighting the cancer. I honestly didn’t think I would make it to two years! When I exhausted all the FDA approved drugs he seamlessly guided me into a clinical drug trial that he knew was starting and a year later is still keeping my cancer at bay!
