My name is Eleanor Conti I been trying to get in touchwith peter mencel m.d. for 2 weeks now.Dr. Shukla wants me to do a follow up with him
I’ve been calling since Monday to just get an appointment.
Dr Mencel has been great treating my complicated issues. Always there to help me. I have ongoing blood problems that require persistent monitoring. Dr M is right there. Found a medication that works for me. Expensive! I can’t afford it. Helps with a fantastic grant for it. All his staff are as caring and helpful as he is.
Had a appt as a new patient scheduled for early Dec. Office called me to say they double booked me on their "system". Had to reschedule. Called three times in Jan and left messages to reschedule, never received a call back. When you call and press 2 to schedule an appointment they never answer. Pressed 1 as a "doctor" and they pick right up. Scheduled a new appt for late January and just received a call AGAIN saying they screwed up and double booked my time. I have always had a great experience with Dr. Peter Mencel UNTIL my appointment on 10/7/2019. At that time he rushed me thru the appointment and told me I needed a Reclast intravenous treatment which is 1 time a year. I have called The Hope Tower, at JSMC, Neptune, NJ to try to get an appointment for this, FIVE Times as of yesterday. Each time doctors assistant told me he would call me back the next day.
