This doctor cares more about football than his patients. My husband was hospitalized for 1 week due to congestive heart failure. After discharged from hospital, he went to see Dr. Lewis--my husband has been seeing him for years. He didn't review the new medications the hospital prescribed, my husband went back to emergency room 7 days after seeing this doctor due to extreme low blood pressure (80/40). I had a second opinion visit with Dr Lewis and found him to be personable, professional and very thorough. After reviewing all relevant data, he confirmed my suspicion that the original recommended procedures (by another physician) were unnecessary and could in fact be risky. He was in a position to profit from continued intervention, but chose to take the high road for which I am most appreciative.
