Dr. Massicott is the best internal medicine doctor I have had. He treats me with respect and actually listens. He's taken some strange issues quite seriously and helped me work through them, where other doctors just sort of gave up when they couldn't figure it out. He also admitted when he was outside of his expertise, and took the time to read and explain stuff as we were figuring it out. He's also a really nice guy and makes you feel relaxed. Great doctor, really goes above and beyond in caring for his patients, takes into consideration all of your concerns.
Bottom line is he and his nurse practitioner took my symptoms seriously - turned out to be cancer. They sent me immediately (as in that minute) for ultrasound, followed by CT scan the next day which turned out suspicious. He referred me to one of the best cancer surgeons in Boston and as a result I will probably be okay having gone through surgery and treatment. His amazing nurse practitioner has stayed in touch with me and continued to follow up throughout my ordeal.
