Dr. Kneurtz is very kind and compassionate. He takes his time with his patients and listens. He is very knowledgeable. He is the only thoracic surgeon that my entire family will ever use.

Everyone has been very helpful, kind and knowledgeable so far in my journey here at the James. I really like Dr. Kneuertz, as he appears to be very kind, while being honest about care and how to handle upcoming procedures.

Dr. Kneuertz was supposed to do a biopsy on my husbands lung. While he was in there he decided to scrape the lung lining. This was never discussed prior to biopsy. There was a report within the group of drs that any surgery was probably not going to be good for my husband. He did it anyway. My husband was then given his 1st chemo 2 weeks later. (To soon after a scraping) and died 2 weeks after that. I’ve tried to report this and hold him responsible but apparently they are protected by the State of Ohio being a State hospita... read more
