My first visit didn't go well but went ahead and continued as my primary physician. With numerous issues and concern for an underlying condition, he basically told me he needed to restrict patients from taking too much time: over the 15 minutes and limited to one or two issues. Even explained he was getting more strict with the patients. He gets very upset if you do not adhere to his Houston Medical schedule. Dr. Izzo is a wonderful doctor. He listens.
Dr. Izzo is very thorough, explains things clearly and is genuinely concerned about his patients. He listens and makes you feel comfortable to ask questions.
After my first visit I was hesitant about returning but did. I am glad I did. Have had several appointments and now am having extended tests to determine my issue. The entire staff is pleasant, friendly and explains things very well. Dr. Izzo listens and ask questions to determine the diagnosis, then explains why he has reached his diagnosis. He also involves the patient in making the decision for resolution, prescriptions etc. As a senior, I am very pleased. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Izzo always diagnoises my illness with concern that makes me feel like a person and not a patient number. The nursers also are professional and attentive. I would recommend ELFP to everyone.
