How long does it take to fix a leak ,since i joined it's either been closed ,or something is not working like the steam room ,or the hot tub , CAN'T SAY I GETTING MY MONEY'S WORTH !

A few of us headed over to Peter Hemmingway a couple weeks back just to get some laps in at the pool, and honestly it was a really solid afternoon out. The facility is huge and well-maintained, which you don't always get with city recreation centres. We were there around midday on a Saturday and it wasn't nearly as crowded as I expected, so we had plenty of room to move around. Definitely planning to bring the group back when we want a casual active day that doesn't require a big commitment.

This place had known flood issues on the south facing windows of the pool area, millions of dollars and 3 years worth of renovation still didn't fix the issue. Anytime it rains, this place gets shut down for weeks, most recently for over a month. Very disappointing. Lifeguards have an attitude and occasionally you'd run into some ill mannered, noisy gang of teenagers being loud or banging on lockers for no reason, sauna is packed like a sardine can most of the time. Here's a revolutionary idea, have more than two lifeguards on shift and that way you won't have to shut down the entire pool area for them to take a break. The management at this place is pathetic.
