Wonderful doctor and staff. I'm glad to finally be in good hands.
I found Dr. Janu to be very personable and seemed concerned about my health issue. However, the test done did not show a thing, when I had explained swallowing liquids does not bring on the pain, only solid foods. The diagnosis "dysphagia" always shows up, but it is not a swallowing problem at all - food goes down just fine so I want that term out of my record. Dr. Fuller also had that listed, and I cannot seem to get rid of it, as that term effects how I am treated!
I felt comfortable with Dr. Janu as soon as he entered the exam room and as he carefully explained what has happened to my stomach over decades. Then using diagrams and sensory aides, he showed me how surgery would correct the situation. I feel confident that if I follow his pre- and post-surgery directions, I will have a positive outcome.
