Dr was great. Receptionist rude. First phone call in mid-conversation she put me on hold and didn't tell me. When i called back she was rude said she will talk to doctor and call back Monday. No word i called her Tuesday. She was rude multiple times was told by her doctor wont write you a referral. Never offered me an appointment to discuss just refused care! Then was told several times to shut up! She said i was rude. I said i will not shut up i am advocating for myself. I have the records to prove i need the referral. *Saw... read more
Spoke to the receptionist to double check if they took a specific insurance. She assumed I said medicare, but I mentioned I had said Marketplace. She then said she wasn't sure what plans they took but they definitely didn't take HMO. So I asked do you take a PPO plan? She answered that she just knew they did not take HMO. They were listed on the insurance's providers list. Her ignorance and hostile attitude was not necessary. Please be diligent about what insurance plans are accepted.
Dr.Allegretti has been our Dr for at least 35 years! Wonderful Doctor, we trust him completely in his treatment for us as well as his recommendations for other Doctors (specialists). He really cares for his patients especially when they are hospitalized.” He is also a wonderful family man.
I have been going to Dr. Allegretti for over 20 years and have found him to be very considerate, thorough and competent. When you are in the exam room he takes his time and you don’t feel rushed. Always nice to see the same friendly staff!
My husband and I have been patients of Dr Allegretti for about 20 years. He is an incredible listener, and even more importantly, a great diagnostician. He sticks with the more complex issues till you find a diagnosis...he is never a dr who will tell you "it's in your head." We love Dr Allegretti, and would be lost without him!
