I had cataract surgery with Dr Bekendam. Everything went very smooth! There were no problems and it was over with quickly! I was awake but didn’t feel a thing. Dr Bekendam informed me of every step he was doing. He called me a few hours later to check on me and the next day a nurse did the same. I definitely felt taken care of. I had been afraid to do surgery on my eyes because of how sensitive they are. But he was great and it was fast. I had no unpleasant side effects after surgery.
