Very Poor Doctor! My experience with Dr. Peter Seline was similar to the many others who have complained on this site and others. In fact, Seline had so many poor ratings and complaints that there are trails and tracks on these sites pointing to his effort to conceal these reviews by actually hiring a reputation defender. The best way to protect your repute, Doc, is to listen to your patients and show some compassion along with some skill. You did none of that with me! Excellent I was so impressed with Dr. Seline and his entire staff. Professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and kind - both times I was there. Would absolutely recommend him to family and friends!
Excellence Dr. Seline is honest, trustworthy, transparent and knowledgable. He has an excellent bedside manner and displays absolute professionalism. He accurately and appropriately diagnosed my melanoma, performed removal via surgery quickly and continues to provide follow up. The site healed without any problems, he removed enough skin that the pathlogy report returned as negative (no further surgical procedure required) and the scar is minimal. Not sure if I will return or refer in the community Very nervous after reading these reviews to return to this doctor. I am very active in my community and am also reluctant to refer others here. Dr. Seline will need to care for each patient with the utmost professionalism and skill to regain confidence. May return, but will be wary about procedures. Will be sure to let others know if he is not competent. .
Peter Seline Lacks Skills Peter Seline lacks bedside manner, people skills, and surgical technique. Results were horrible. When I called after the surgery to report a problem with severe swelling, bruising, and fever, he refused to see me and told me to visit my family doctor. I went to my family physician who said I have a bad infection and needed to visit Peter Seline's office immediately. Peter's office refused to provide any post-surgical care.
older and wiser all i can say is i agree with others that dr. seline is cold and distant and not real informative. now that i am older i am also wiser and will learn to do my homework before seeking medically necessary treatments. this internet thing is more important now even for people like me who are on the computer illiterate side.
Similar story I wonder why Dr. Seline doesn't do follow up visits, especially when an infection results? I have a friend who had mohs done by Peter Seline and she wasn't allowed a follow up visit either when she had some concerns afterward. She did not have an infection as far as I know but she said Dr. Seline was very cold and unfriendly before, during, and after the surgery.
