RecommendedWe were out of state and traveling through Illinois to Wisconsin when our fuel pump went out. Peter and his team went above and beyond to get it fixed and back on the road asap. Thanks to them we didn't lose a day of vacation. The staff was very friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend them to any person needing repair or preventative work done.
Highly qualified but rude, incompetent, and rip-off. I will never go to Peter B's again. It is impressive that they have a lot of certified mechanics, etc. But - those certifications don't matter if they don't fix your car right, charge for work that wasn't done, etc.
Used to be great - isn't anymore. Here is just one of the problems I have had. Took the car in to get brake work done. Peter B. did it. I went back in very soon after that and asked what was going on with my brakes. He listed all of the stuff that needed to be done. I said "But I just HAD that done." He said "If you paid someone to do that work and they told you they did it, they are a liar, and they ripped you off." I said "Are you POSITIVE that work hasn't been done recently?" I steer clear of Peter B's Ever since he damaged my car, he admitted it, but refused to fix it or pay for it! Not only that, but he made me pay for the repair!!!!I asked him if he really thought that was the upstanding honest thing for him to do. He smirked and said "That's how business works". Arg - what a jerk. He did say (in his defense) that he felt bad about it. My experience was not as good as the other reviewer. I have had several very bad experiences at Peter B's. I was a very consistent and loyal customer and used Peter B's on many occasions and even recommended them to my friends. However, something changed and I had several very disappointing experiences there consecutively.
