Great orthopedic doc who really knows his stuff!!
He diagnosed with with a minimum of 2 sprained wrists after a car accident yet said I could go back to work driving a minimum of 6-8 hrs a day.
The staff is attentive and personal. Enjoyed Dr. Matsuura “bedside manner”, professional and caring.

If you are a woman, DO NOT SEEK HIS SERVICES..many friends in Hilo warned me that he treats them different..nasty man to me. From walking into room, w/ no intro, he looked at my xray & mumbled "oh god"...... 🙄proceded to cast my foot too tight...i complained- he ignored. I spent all weekend in agony from foot swelling up inside cast until he fixed it on Monday. Then after 1 month, re- xrayed it, said nothing, took cast off & fitted me w/ a HUGE sized 13 heavy black boot.( I am size 7). It really hurt my foot from flopping a... read more
