My partners car was sent in for a recall. We dropped the car off for service and they us 4 hrs. Full day goes by, no call. Kept the car overnight without even reaching out. 4 hrs turned into 2 weeks with us having to harass Samantha to get an answer. We understand that it was a recall, but there could have been better communication. I called a week into them having the car and Samantha claimed that they were waiting on approval from VW. Service department is the absolute worst. They will lie to you, they will not call you back, and they don’t care at all. Krista was my service advisor. Have never heard back from her, even after calling multiple times and leaving messages. I’ve call for the service manager and left messages, never heard back. They are the #1 reason people don’t trust service departments.

I was contacted out of the blue by a member of the service staff indicating that one of the recalls (for reprogramming a body control module) that was ostensibly performed during my last service appointment was not complete and that they'd appreciate it if I could come in and let them rectify the issue. During this conversation, I got the distinct impression that this was somewhat urgent (possibly indicating pressure from corporate or similar) and that the work would take 'no longer than 30 minutes'.
