Can't thank my service advisor Rhett, and technician Jordan, enough! My 2017 Yukon all of a sudden started having transmission problems in the middle of the week. Friday morning when I went to take my son to school it wouldn't move at all, so I had to get it towed to Pete Moore Chevrolet. I told my service advisor Rhett what was happening, and he said they might be able to look at it same day, but no promises. Well they did! I arrived and made an appointment for service. Explained I’m having a common issue with my transmission. I provided the Service Bulletin number, Work Order number and part numbers required to perform the task. I was then told I would be charged a diagnosis fee. For what? I told you the work I wanted performed and even provided a work order number. What exactly is being diagnosed? Don’t believe me or the trouble codes I provided? Okay fine.. My partners car was sent in for a recall. We dropped the car off for service and they us 4 hrs. Full day goes by, no call. Kept the car overnight without even reaching out. 4 hrs turned into 2 weeks with us having to harass Samantha to get an answer. We understand that it was a recall, but there could have been better communication. I called a week into them having the car and Samantha claimed that they were waiting on approval from VW. Service department is the absolute worst. They will lie to you, they will not call you back, and they don’t care at all. Krista was my service advisor. Have never heard back from her, even after calling multiple times and leaving messages. I’ve call for the service manager and left messages, never heard back. They are the #1 reason people don’t trust service departments.
