I am writing this review so other pet owners can make an informed decision and avoid what happened to my dog. I brought my dog, Abbie, to this Petco location for grooming on Thursday. When she came home, she had a raw, open skin injury near her hip and tail that was absolutely not present prior to the appointment. I went in for a groomers appointment with my medium size dog. The groomer picked my dog up very awkwardly (never once did a professional groomer pick my dog up like that) and of course my dog reacted. I didn't think anything of it until the groomer rudely told me to take my dog and leave. First of all, my dog NEVER bites. My dog is a sweet marshmallow. If he had tried again and actually just escorted my dog like any other groomer, it would have been fine. My dog is not a small dog and should not be picked up like that, EVER.... read more
