Petco is killing dogs? There are many postings on Craigslist about the death of a dog in their salon. Why does the family have to go to a public bulletin board to find out what happened to their pet? Why won't they answer their questions, and WHAT did happen to this dog?
Petco's return policy lives up to their claims We just got a new dog and was told not to give her pigs ears, rawhide, or anything that could splinter. We bought a very hard rubber bone. Within an hour of giving my dog the bone she chewed off both ends. We returned the bone to Petco and received our money back with just a show of our receipt. It was nice not to get a hassle, and a smile from an employee. PROS: Good return policy, nice employees CONS: Inferior product really should not have been on shelves.
Poor selection & Prices When I shopped Petco, I knew that my choices were limited. The food choices were slim and the prices were quite high for the amount you receive in the bag. Toys and other necessities were also limited. I also found that the staff was not educated about the products. I really was disappointed as I had certain items to purchase and found they weren't stocked at this location.
I will never return, not even fir supplies! My mom took my yorkie terrier in to get a hair cut while I was at school. I was horrified at how she looked afterward. One side of the face was 3 inches longer than the other, there was a bald spot. I make the drive out to A Grateful Dog in Lockport. Thankfully they were able to fix her there, she is alot shorter than I like her be, but at least now she is even and back to being her cute self. Petco did not even refund the money fir the cut they messed up.
