Shopping online to see what I need before I go into the store to get what I need and get out (due to pandemic) . Their specific location offered buy one get one half off dog collars and because I went into the store instead of doing curbside they said they couldn’t honor the price difference as promised on their personal store page. Took my 1 year old lab there to get his nails cut. My fiancé went to the bathroom real quick and he came back and they said they couldn’t do his nails because he was aggressive and trying to bite the guy doing it. My lab has no mean bone in his body to bite anyone let alone be aggressive towards anyone. We can’t do his nails because he squirms to much! I’ve been there many times before but this just upsets me because I know my dog.
I was just in the store and they have a juvenile halmahera blue tongue skink. This particular species requires 90% humidity. Petco being the wonderful place they are has this poor little guy at 35% with stuck shed and dry as can be. My heart is literally broken rite now. What is so hard about properly caring for the animals you are selling?

My pup Axle and I came to Petco for our Puppy 1&2 training with Hector. He is awesome!!! Great with the dogs, builds trust with the dogs, and still a year later knows us by name, keeps in touch if I have any training questions he’s always willing to help. And when our dog got sick this past summer he kept in touch to check on him. He truly cares and my dog still loves going to visit from time to time!!!
