I am writing this review so other pet owners can make an informed decision and avoid what happened to my dog. I brought my dog, Abbie, to this Petco location for grooming on Thursday. When she came home, she had a raw, open skin injury near her hip and tail that was absolutely not present prior to the appointment. I have shopped at Petco in Delafield for over a decade- already, I know they aren’t par to the local natural pet food stores- but I’ve shopped there for various supplies, and a couple cute lil beta fish we’ve had over the years. Today was an experience out of the Twilight Zone. We have beta fish- one we’ve had for years, and the other that we had for 3 1/2-4 years recently died. I purchased 500 count mealworms from Petco Coeur d'Alene Idaho. It was over $13. They must not rotate or take any care because most were dried up and dead. I feel like I did not get my money's worth. I set them out, put some carrot strips and some of the gel that holds water and they went nuts over it. So many dry / dead  one's work to the surface. Will not buy again.
