Yesterday, Saturday, December 19, 2020, my Yorkie was with Brittany, Petco Leesburg, for grooming. I showed her a picture of my Yorkie's face and she agreed she could do it. I told her I did not want fluffy legs on my Yorkie because she had several knots and mats. She said she will cut the hair in her legs but less than what she will cut in her body. This in regards to there grooming. Had an appointment scheduled whole week ago for today at 9AM. There system sent email and reminder. Now got up early and was told it was not on schedule and no reason why. Everything I attempted to schedule at this location something goes wrong. Terrible and unprofessional they didn't even apologize nothing not even book another appointment. Will call corporate in morning and file complaint.

We purchased a guinea pig from this store, they told us "her" name was Daisy, well Daisy is clearly a boy (vet confirmed). She had been there for quiet some time and obviously the staff is not properly trained if they can't even identify the gender of a 7mo old guinea pig. They also said "she" had always been in a cage alone, all the time! Which is cruelty to guinea pigs and even forbidden in a lot of countries. Carlos has excellent personality. He went far and beyond to help my wife and I with the purchase of our pets. His knowledge on care of all animals was impressive-have yet to meet someone that cares about animals like him. The fact that they were very busy but came back to follow up with us and answer all our questions and other customers as well was what impressed me also Raven checked us out with such a positive attitude. I bought 3 female mollies from this petco less than 24 hours ago. My tank is completely cycled. One was nearly dead when i got home yesterday, but now they all have passed. Unfortunately, I'd be wasting more in gas running them back to the store (dead) than what I paid for them. I don't suggest buying any fish from here!!

The staff are always courteous and helpful. The small animals, fish, reptiles, and birds for sale seem very well kept in clean, well-appointed quarters. My only complaint is that they can't seem to keep jumbo frozen rats in stock on the weekends when I have time to shop.
