Do not do your puppy training here! We had three in-store sessions with Sam (Samara) in Reno, NV South Virginia location and every session was basically the same. Each session she had a new puppy that would start and would take a big chunk of class time registering the new puppy and going over what to expect from the class, the basic "rules" of training, how the classes work, her personal dog stories, etc. Each class felt like the first initial class where not a lot happened. A good all around store for pets I like Petco because they have a good selection of quality merchandise for pets. They are very similar to Petsmart; however, I've found their prices to be a little higher. They also offer low-cost vaccination clinics and various other services. Petco also raises money for homeless pets and shows concern for animals in the community. Nice Variety of Merchandise and Friendly Staff This Petco has a staff that is extremely accomodating. They are more than willing to go out of their way to be of assistance. The products that they carry in this store are well merchandised and makes it easy to find specific items. They also have pretty good sales from time to time.
