Customer service sucks at this store! I understand when its busy but on the 4th of July and theres maybe 6 customers and all 3 employees hanging out in front just chit chatting away and having a great time while Im walking in circles waiting for assistance for 15mins and they're all still hanging by the front door? My favorite store. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I got my two parakeets there avid when I was looking to get a couple ferrets they did not have any but they called around until they found one.
My favorite and only petco I prefer going to for sure! Best people ever work here and they are always so helpful when I need help with all my fur babes at home!
Took my Great Dane there to get groomed a couple months ago. When we picked him up here was covered in feces! I had to literally ask for a paper towel to try and make a dent in this awful mess! Then the girl goes "that will be $50". So I paid $50 to have my dog groomed just to take him home covered in poop! They said it was because he was so scared.... well he has never been that afraid getting groomed before. So I'm wondering what the hell happened to him that it scared him so bad that he literally shit himself.
I happened to be in Portsmouth (though I live in Dover) and stopped in for some cat food and decided to get a couple of fish while I was there. I talked Matt's ear off forEVER and just wanted to publicly state (for the powers that be) that he was awesome, as was the tall girl with long, dark-ish hair and glasses whose name I didn't get, and whoever covered them while they were helping me.
