I DO NOT recommend this vet! This isn’t even my dogs regular vet but she had an infection again and her regular vet couldn’t get her in so I brought her here. The last time I was there the doctor was amazing and helpful. When I went this week, the doctor was rude and condescending! My dog needed antibiotics and he acted like this was a some sort of serious drug being prescribed. I don’t appreciate going to a vet and leaving feeling angry and that the doctor had no real interest in helping my poor dog! Do better!
I was disappointed with my visit today and have decided I won’t be returning with either of my dogs. My concern isn’t that recommendations were made—it’s how they were communicated. I felt pressured rather than supported in making decisions for my puppy. I was told my 12-week-old puppy couldn’t receive his rabies vaccine and would need to return, but I didn’t receive a clear explanation as to why. I left feeling confused. We were traveling across Canada. My dog was sick brought her to Pet Vet in Steinbach Manitoba. Dr. Leeanne Bargen and the staff were amazing! Tests and consultation and meds were all done in half an hour. I wish I lived closer. Thank you so much Pet vet.
I do not recommend this clinic if you need travel documents for your pet. Before booking the appointment, I called the clinic and specifically asked whether they could complete my pet's travel paperwork, including the documents that require a CFIA-related signature. I was told that they could. However, after I paid for the appointment and brought my cat in, it turned out they could not provide or complete the required paperwork.
