I was so happy when Pet Pangaea opened in Los Alamos. Until then, I had to get my canine companions' high quality foods in Santa Fe! I have always found the staff friendly, courteous, and informative. The hours of operation fit my schedule, and being open 7 days meant that I could run in on a Sunday afternoon if I needed something over the weekend. The store is a wonderful local business addition to our town!

Great products and knowledgable staff! They always have a bag of dog food on hold for us, so we never have to worry about running out (for the same price we would pay at a big-box store or online). I highly recommend Pet Pangaea for all of your pets needs!
I love Pet Pangaea- fabulous service (where else can you find a PhD chemist to help you with pet food labels?), huge selection, decent prices on everything- and I go back to the service. They can tell you anything you want to know about all the products. And they support Friends of the Shelter, Search and Rescue, and many other organizations.
Pet Pangaea is our "go to" store for everything for pets....and we don't even live in Los Alamos! On more than one occasion I have called the store and ordered something I needed sent to me. It was done quickly and with very little effort. When I gave a question about a product, Cyndi will either know the answer or know how to find it. There are several specialty pet supply stores in Santa Fe but none of them are as well informed or provide the level of service both in the store or in the community. I drive up from Santa Fe to shop at Pet Pangea. Good service and often lower prices than the big stores in SF for the high quality items.
