I would never again take a pet of mine to Michael Herman and Pet Medical Center of Vero Beach. Herman misdiagnosed my cat – other vets had told me she had bad teeth that needed cleaning, but he did not agree and unfortunately I went with his judgement. When she presented with loss of appetite and drooling for the third time last month, he ran the usual battery of expensive tests, concluded she had ‘unexpressed anal glands,’ and sent her home with antibiotics and an appetite enhancer. I recently relocated to Vero Beach and need to establish with a new vet for my dog Cookie. I spent some time researching veterinarians in the area and finally chose Dr. Herman. Following my first visit I was extremely satisfied. Dr. Herman and his assistant Margaret exhibited knowledge, compassion, patience and were very gentle in their care. I highly recommend anyone moving to the area or who may be searching for these qualities in veterinarian services consider Dr. Herman.
