Basic pet store This place is well stocked and fairly priced. It doesn't have a lot of character, which is typical of chains. But I'll bet you can find what you are looking for. They have good deals on the bulk dog biscuits and I usually buy three bully sticks because you get a third one free. It works out well since I have two dogs. I also like that the staff usually will ask if I need help out to me car. I always take them up on it since I often have a toddler in tow and am buying the enormous bag of dog food.

My dog loves this place. People that love animals. That is what this place offers. This place offers the same supplies that other pet store have, but the staff is what sets this place apart. They can help you with your animals needs and are always willing to go out of their way to accommodate you. They have a built in shower room for your animals, and offer Doggy Training courses on the weekends.

this is a local chain, but this location is particularly good. the prices are okay, but worth a few extra pennies for the help you get from the staff. they also have facilities for doggie baths. for baths or just for shopping, you are welcome to bring your pet into the store. this is convenient when you need to fit a new collar.

like any other. i see all pet stores the same way. it all looks the same and it all has the same items. this place was not different than the rest of the petfood express places. i went here because we were in oakland and our dog was hungry while in the car. the items were easy to find, so no complaints here.

Run of the Mill Pet Superstore Pet Food Express in Oakland is a giant warehouse of pet supplies. Unfortunately, their huge space does not hold a huge selection. The customer service varies and is often helpful but other times overly aggressive. It is an ok place to get your pet supplies, but does not offer anything more that the smaller non-chain stores in the area have.

employees malevolent This is the store in which I bought a can of Wellness dog which may have been poisoned. My dog almost died. I was unable to get in touch with Wellness by phone or website, so I asked the store to contact Wellness for me. They never contacted Wellness or me again. I had to call back again and again, and follow up. Wellness was finally contacted by then it was too late to isolate the contaminated dog food, in spite of my submitting the medical records and bills, nothing was done. Pet Food Express is very helpful I know why they have good reviews. The employees really make the difference at this store. Otherwise, the selection is just a tiny step above average. Very helpful people. Really.

Employees Who are Friendly with Both Humans & Animals! The employees at Pet Food Express deserve a round of applause. They are some of the friendliest employees I have seen in any type of store. The place is cheaper than most other pet food stores, such as Petco and even Pet Club. The environment welcomes customers with open arms, as the place seems to be clean almost all of the time. Definitely worth a visit for pet lovers.

Pet Food Express is great Great value with their buy 3 get another free deal. I always stock up on the very best treats and get such a good deal. Good parking too. Thank you!
