I am extremely disappointed by the service I received for my cocker spaniel and would not recommend anyone going here for an emergency. When I took my dog in with erratic behaviour, they did a urine test and informed me she had somehow ingested methamphetamine. The procedure the vet wanted to do on her, he didn’t seem confident and told me he had only performed it four times. He told me all the possible outcomes of it, a lot being fatal. Don't take your guinea pig here. We rang another vet them and told them what was happening to our guinea pig. They recommend here after hours so we came here. The receptionist told us that there was a guy vet from North Lakes that deals with alot of guinea pigs so I'll get him to check out your guinea pig. After sitting for an hour we were seen by a vet nurse that checked his heart relate then spoke to a vet. I cannot thank the team enough for the kindness, compassion and professionalism they showed while helping me say goodbye to my beautiful girl after 14 years together. Waited an hour and half for a minor injury that my dog had. Told on the phone to come in as there were several vets working. I understand how emergency vets work but this place is a joke. Hire more staff or be honest with potential customers. We walked out and will go to the emergency vet at Jindalee next time. I'd recommend everyone do the same.
Long wait. Try their best to hospitalise the animal as opposed to treating immediately. Fee generator. Refused to give a pet any pain medication only wanted to admit.
