I decided I wanted an at home vet consult because she was always shaking so violently that I could not calm her down, and I think led to incorrect assessment of her behavior. We contacted Dr. Shuey for in home euthanasia. However, our fur baby, a 9.5 year old Great Dane suddenly felt better, so we cancelled. Dr. Shuey was very understanding and extended best wishes. It is therefore, when the time really came, we contacted her again. She worked with us re: scheduling and was patient, experienced and very very gentle.
