First off I canceled this service after they came out twice because the technician barely sprayed there were still issues with bugs getting in so I called and told them I was disappointed and wanted to cancel. Come to find out I find in my email where they are still trying to bill me from over a year ago. I am extremely disappointed in this service and am stuck with it b/c of the bait system that other competitors wont service. Last quarter I had issues and spoke with the local mgr and expressed my dissatisfaction of being invoiced and not receive a service. This is a HUGE integrity issue for me and I'm sure many ppl pay w/o realizing they do not get the service. Not even giving them One star. Paid almost 2 k for wildlife service. I got caught in the middle of them firing, rehiring and folks quitting during Bug Offs merge with other companies (pestban, anticimex) and it became a nightmare. I missed work, communication became a problem and excluder cages were left on my house for months. They have NO record of that. Had stains and spots on my house. i questioned the lawn company and pestban. Both said it was not from their chemicals. I proceeded to have house repainted. Technician came out for service on July 11, 2023 i watched him sling chemical out of his jug onto house. He then diluted with a sprayer. Paint is ruined now and will need repainted. They sent two managers out for pics and consultation. One manager said he would test chemical at the shop. The other manager could not believe it and never heard from him again. Weve used them for 23 years and never had a problem. They come out and do additional service if needed between service calls. Weve been very pleased with their service and rarely have needed them to come out due to how well the system works.
My builder provided me with a 1-year termite protection plan from Pestban. I didn't see anyone check the termite stations once in the entire year, never received any paperwork that anyone had been out, until the first year expired. Then it was finally checked. I received a bill for $320 immediately thereafter. I shouldn't be billed for a service that has already be paid for by my builder. I called Pestban. Their customer service team explains that this isn't a bill, it's an invoice, and it's the charge to renew the service. ... read more
We have been customers of Pestban for 17 years. There have been VERY FEW technicians who have come to the house to provide service who have been conscientious. Those few great employees never stay. We miss them. The worst employees of Pestban are the office workers. The office workers are argumentative and uncooperative and dishonest. They claim you can schedule service at your convenience, but when you try to, they argue with you. I was a customer of Pestban for 14 years ($350-$380/yr) and had to temporarily freeze services. I called to unfreeze my services after 6 months and management would not waive the activation fee. I was told at the time of cancellation that I would not be charged an activation fee as a returning customer. Pestban ownership clearly has forgotten the cost of customer acquisition and have zero appreciation for customer loyalty. My rates consistently increased until it became unaffordable. We appreciate each and every customer's reviews. This customer cancelled service and inaccurately recalled being told the fee would be waived it he started up again. We reviewed the recorded call and verified he was not promised that. We promised him on Oct 24th we would review and call him back tomorrow after a management review.
