My husband and I were recently in the bank to make the last payment on our mortgage. I think most would agree that the reason for our visit was a pretty big accomplishment. A simple Congratulations would have been appreciated...which didn't happen and that's ok. What we did encounter was rude employees who made us feel extremely unwelcome. I'm not sure what has happened to basic customer service skills but Peru Fed you have failed. Maybe in the future you can advise your employees to fake it til they make it?
