I am so grateful for the care I received by Dr Pierre and his team. I had a really traumatic birth experience prior and was really nervous about having another birth and baby. However after I met Dr Smith I felt at ease. His knowledge, bedside manner is second to none. My care in hospital and as an outpatient has been phenomenal. Special mention to the wonderful midwife Lorraine for her outstanding care and for her prompt treatment in getting my daughter into nicu. I cannot recommend this practise enough, I am eternally grat... read more

I am 25 weeks pregnant and I am a first time mom! I have been sick with severe flu with nostril congestion and severe cough. I am not able to breath properly at all due to nose blockage and my gp gave me nasal spray which added more complication and blockage. I was not able to breath and wanted medical advise. I called and talked with one of the receptionist. She was so rude to say that my issue is not serious. I had the 2 episode of not able to breath and she thinks it is not a serious issue. It is so unprofessional

I have severe PTSD from my birth experience with Ana for my first child in 2020. Typical bait and switch approach. Pushed me to be induced for no good reason.Said she wouldn’t let me go past 41 weeks without induction. Luckily i went into spontaneous labour midnight at 39+6. Was labouring naturally wonderfully at home. As soon as I got to the hospital she put me on syntocinon to “speed things up”, baby monitor, broke my water at only 1cm dilated (excruciating and felt incredibly violated). Obviously trying to out my labour o... read more

I cannot express how grateful my family are that we found Dr Smith and the team at POGS for supporting us through the birth of my two beautiful boys. Dr Smith is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, thorough and professional in his approach to obstetrics. I had two slightly complicated pregnancies and Dr Smith provided us with so much care and referred us to the best specialists. I also found Dr Smith had an innate understanding of the mental strain my second pregnancy might be having on me, and the emotions women go through and ... read more

I had checked their website and informed myself on their take-in policy but when I called in with what I would consider clearly a gynaecological issue that could have been an emergency, I was told that I should go to see a GP. There was hardly any empathy and no advice offered on how to handle the situation. I felt so helpless even when I told them that I was a tourist in this country and that I did not understand the system in Australia. I was told to google it.
