An awesome experience for any space lovers, make sure to book in advance The volunteers were knowledgeable and passionate about their topics Loved coming down from the telescopes to a warm hot choccy on a cold night Had an awesome chat to Beryl about meteorites
Amazing experience with incredible volunteers! Accessible and inclusive - made for a great night out! Thanks!
Had three awesome night sightseeing tours here, first of many I think. Was originally brought here as a surprise birthday gift by my wife, and have since come back with my old man who was also blown away with the astronomy experience. Volunteers are knowledgeable, friendly and all around awesome. Can't recommend enough!
Perth Observatory is a charming and historic site located in the hills east of Perth. The museum is small but well‑maintained, featuring fascinating exhibits like meteorites and antique star maps. The place feels refined, and I’m looking forward to joining one of their night‑sky viewing sessions. The meteorite display is particularly unique. However, it’s smaller than expected — Western Australia’s rich astronomy resources deserve more government support to offer visitors an even broader experience.
Perth Observatory has a 4.8 star rating with 709 reviews.
Perth Observatory is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.
