Was given an assessment and told I probably had multiple disk bulges before i had even had a scan (turned out i just had one) was advised to keep a neutral spine and brace for everything. The combination of constant bracing and fear of moving my spine made my pain 100 times worse. Its taken me months to unlearn the bracing and fear of movement and now i have minimal pain and im back at work thanks to a talented physio. I see from other reviews it has worked for people but it definitely didn’t work for me.

I was in a really hopeless place after nearly a year in hospital, spending hours researching spinal rehab clinics, when by chance I came across Jordan van der Westhuizen at Perth Injury & Pain Clinic — and it was truly the best thing that could have happened to me. I’ve had back pain with flare-ups for about 15 years, and every physio I’ve seen just gave me a massage and sent me on my way. Jordan was the first to really look into why it kept happening. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand my daily movements and go through my MRI results in detail. For the first time, I actually understand what’s going on with my spine. I’m feeling hopeful about my recovery and highly recommend Jordan!

My whole experience with Perth Pain and injury clinic has been so great, wonderful communication, easy booking appointments, questions answered by friendly reception. Previously have had 18 months of pain in my lower back and down my leg from a spinal injury ( herniated disc, nerve compression), lack of movement, pain medication aal of which impacted my daily living and work. After seeing GPs, physios and had many remedial massages regularly over the last 18mnths I hadn't had a whole lot of progress with pain and still havin... read more

I have seen many specialists and physios for my back, and then I was highly recommended to go and see Jordan. Jordan has been so informative, thorough, helpful and knowledgeable! I wish I saw him months ago! 10/10
