Absolutely devastating. Arrived at the Children’s Hospital at 5:30pm on a Wednesday, the triage nurse saw us within 10 minutes of entering and waiting. He was kind enough to apologise and set an expectation of a long wait time of about 1 hour and 30 mins. We didn’t mind as my child has been having a concerning temperature of 40 degrees for 3 days in a row with symptoms of coughing, runny nose, excessive sweating and no appetite to eat.
