This was one of the most frustrating hospital experiences I’ve ever had. I understand that Emergency Departments get busy, and I was always patient with things before I have been here! What I cannot accept is being repeatedly told, “Just wait a few seconds,” “We’ll be with you soon,” or “It won’t be long,” only to be left sitting there for another 30 to 60 minutes with no explanation. If you know it’s going to be a long wait, just say so, how hard???Don’t tell patients it’ll only be a few seconds when it’s like another half ... read more
