I’m extremely disappointed with the care my 3-year-old daughter received at Perth Children’s Hospital. We presented to the ED with high fevers (40°C), vomiting, lethargy, a persistent cough, and what I believe was a febrile convulsion. When I described the episode — including her eyes rolling back and mouth opening and closing rapidly — the doctor dismissed it, saying it wasn’t a convulsion unless her arms and legs were “flapping about.” She was diagnosed with a chest infection, dehydration, and low blood sugar, and was pres... read more

Shameful, avoidable death of Aishwarya Aswath. Total and pure incompetence and all involved should never be allowed to practice again. The board should be replaced and the WA govt sacked for neglect. Since when does the path to excellence involve stepping over dead children? July 2025 update: another child death. How many have to die before this place is shut down?
Longest wait time ever. At least 4 hours. Why are people that work here so damn rude! Don't bother wasting time with liasons, they actually do nothing. 4 years and no difference. No care. Just report any issues to hadsco or the medical board. I have been unheard with my concerns and feedback. I've spoken with many people, liaisons, managers, supervisors, coordinators, so called head of departments who have all dismissed me and allow bad behaviour. Is disgusting.
