I would never want to have to go to a Care facility but, if I had no choice, I would pick Personally Yours. The care and compassion they show their patients is outstanding. This is a much better place for your loved one to get the care they deserve. Much better care and personal care than in any Nursing Home I have ever encountered.
Staff was amazing, caring, and patient. They took great care of my Grandma at the end of her life. My Grandpa was able to visit all day every day. I stopped by with takeout of my Grandma's favorite foods whenever I could. She was always clean and comfortable when I stopped by unannounced. I got to know a few of the other residents there. I even got to participate in craft time one afternoon making snowflakes. I have read some of the other reviews, but in my personal experience Melinda was great!
Families beware!!! I wish google would allow a 0 star rating. Their website is deceiving and the owner is not to be trusted. Our mothers stay was thankfully brief but it only took 1 week for Melinda(the owner)to show her true colors. 5 days after my mother moving in, I brought in some personal items, and her favorite treats. Melinda called me within 3 days to inform me that treats have to be locked in a cabinet(administered by staff)to avoid ant infestations. I was unaware of this rule as it is not mentioned in the handbook.... read more
My friend reside here and it is run like a prison. They are very controlling. You cannot drop by to say hi without 24 hr notice, you cannot visit in the privacy of her room. They dont like us taking her out for the day. Birthdays and are not celebrated or other minor holidays. No fun activities .
