Good Service for14 years – We signed on to PLP when we got to Charlotte in 1997 to set up a living will and have a legal firm to consult and a reliable tax accountant. I have been helped several times by the legal department and have been very satisfied with my partnership with them. Legal fees can be expensive, but it is a comfort to be able to call them up and get legal counsel without resorting to the Yellow Pages and hope you get a good lawyer.

Stay Away – We had our we done there several years ago and quickly $99 soared over $1000. What really bothers me is that 5 years later we needed to change out some Guardian names and they wanted another $586. Stay away.

Informative and convenient – My wife and I had our legal documents prepared by Personal Legal Plans, off Dunwoody Road, a couple of months ago. The person that came out to our home was very imformative and he explained the difference between having wills prepared and having a living trust prepared. After we made a phone call to the attorneys, we decided on a plan that had a "childrens trust" provision for our family. Not what it appears to be – My experience with this organization was less than favorable. It appears to be designed to bring you in with the $99 will and then up-sell you to the much more expensive trust by salespeople that are more interested in their bonus than in your best interests. I was told a trust was the ONLY way I could be protected only to later find out that a less expensive will would have been just as acceptable.
