Dr. Perry treated me for a paraesopogeal hernia in December 2017. The bottom part of my stomach had somehow herniated into the chest cavity. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly with a great sense of humor. If I had any problems such as this again he would be my top pick to doctor for it.
Other than his Np being a complete inconsiderate jerk .. he was fantastic ... talked to me like I was human and that I had real issues surgery and recovery were a breeze ... other than the liquid diet :-/ lol !!! Dr. Perry is really a great dr and seems to care a great deal about his patients
Dr. Perry is always there for me and listens to all concerns even though I’ve missed appointments due to work and family. He’s done two surgeries for me and I will continue to see him until he is no longer at OSU. He’s a top notch surgeon. And his beautiful blue eyes help as well :)
Dr. Perry performed my Nissen in 2014 and I would recommend him to everybody. I had been seeing him for years due to serious reflux and he cured it. He was very thorough with my care and I haven't had any issues since.
Dr Perry is a gift from God. I got thru my surgery to correct a paraeusophagal hiatal hernia with little pain on June 13th & no complication. He & his team were so caring and patient with my simple like questions. God bless you all. Doctors make sacrifices to be there for us. My granddaughter is a Doctor at OSU. I am so proud of her!
Dr Perry did a Linx placement for esophageal reflux. He never tried one way or another to talk me into anything and his skill as a surgeon is very good. While the Linx didn't solve my problem completely, it did cut down on a lot of my symptoms however I may go back and try the older type of surgery. I had almost no pain but the gas from the surgery they use to inflate my belly was probably the worst of it.
Dr.Perry did surgery on my esophagus, which caused a lot of problems thatI did not have prior to my surgery it caused me to have severe contractions, I called their office & explained to the staff/Dr. Perry that I was having major issues, he acted as though he didn't believe me! Six weeks after my surgery,he ordered a swallowing test which showed severe contractions with aspiration-liquids/solids shot up in my mouth. He did nothing to help me, went to Cleveland Clinic & had a re-do, no success!
