I was charged $1300 for diagnosis, capacitor and contactor replacement, and coil cleaning. I have found no online opinions that support this being a reasonable fee. This is not a situation where I was charged more for same-day service; service was scheduled the day after I called, with the tech actually arriving outside of the 4-hour appointment window. Conducted unauthorized service on my rental home without my consent or permission…This was in Penrose in Arlington VA in my single family home where a technician serviced my AC and then followed up to tell me they serviced the AC without permission.
