As shop, it serves the bare necessity of violin needs given the lack of access to other luthiers in Baltimore. I will say I was particularly put off with the pretention of Mr. Perrin himself. I came to demo quite a few violins, none of which stylistically appealed to me and quite honestly seemed overpriced for the quality they truly were. He seems to be more of a salesmen of historical instruments and loves to talk about the lore of violins than their actual quality, and honestly almost fell for his charm. They did a couple of great bow rehairs for me with which I continue to be pleased. One time the sound post in one of my Violins fell loose (I freaked out!) and Perrin reset it for me right away in the same day! Thank you!
