Took my cat here twice. had already diagnosed his hyperthyroidism. Nonetheless, had to buy the meds directly from them which did cost a lot more than online. But that was only for first month's worth. Second time I brought cat in he had been ripping out his fur. His skin was bleeding and he had red marks on his belly. But the vet never saw this -- only took another blood sample for the hyperthyroidism. That test came back normal -- so the meds were working. They have one good doctor and unfortunately this is not the owner. Therefore this doctor does not make the rule about prescription. You are forced to buy your prescriptions from them, therefore you will pay triple the amount that you would if you shopped online. No stars here.
The doctors at brooklyn veterinay groug are very caring and loving to all of their patients. At the clinic there are only the best doctors and assistants I highly recommend them.
I would highly recommend. The doctors are very caring and knownledgable as is the rest of the staff. I have four dogs and would not hestitate for a moment to bring any of them to see any member of the group. I completely trust their judgement and recommendations.
I would not reccommend I took my pets there for about 3-4 years and up until just recently I had acceptable experiences dealing with certain doctors at the facility many of who wind up leaving. I had recently brought in one of my pets who was misdiagnosed and due to the time lost treating something that did not exist I almost lost my pet, not to mention that this office was fully aware there was another pet at home who could have been afflicted by the illness and no care was mentioned for the other pet, the two of my pets ar... read more
