I received a referral for Dr. Perlewitz from a family friend who had an amazing experience with a major back surgery. I came to Dr. Perlewitz with shoulder pain, that was actually an issue with my cervical spine. The Dr. along with his staff were so professional, patient and kind when it came to scheduling appointments and surgery. Everything was thoroughly explained to me and I felt extremely confident going in for the cervical fusion. The hospital staff did an amazing job and I felt right at home.
For the past 2-1/2 years, I’ve been under the care of Dr Perlewitz. I had two herniated discs, L4 and L5. During a visit, I had complained of left hip pain and locking. Because I was due for an updated MRI on my back after 6 months of PT, Dr Perlewitz also ordered an MRI for my hip as well. The findings were that I had tendinitis, 3 bone spurs and a torn labrum in my hip. Other doctors in the past had never ordered any tests for my hip when I complained of the same thing.
