Before seeing Dr. Perkins I suffered for over 8 months with severe TMJ, jaw almost locking up on me after have dental work and setting off my TMJ. I am such a HUGE fan! I came to see Dr Perkins as a last resort with Migraines TMJ - I was ready for surgery to get some relief. I was skeptical but hopeful. I started seeing Dr. Perkins back in 2019. At the time I had been wearing a CPAP for several years and although my sleeping had improved, my overall health hadn't. Excellent. Dr. Perkins provides very high quality, customized treatment for every single patient. He truly takes personal interest in his patients' wellbeing which starts with his personal phone calls to discuss treatment before you even make your first office visit. I have never received such level of care from any of my medical providers. His treatment is very detailed and he teaches you how to take care of yourself after treatment.

Excellent. Prior to treatment I suffered from severe sleep apnea, TMJ pain, snoring; reflux, and insomnia; however, I was very reluctant to get a retainer because I was afraid that it would damage my bite and make my TMJ worse. Dr Perkins was amazing about explained why and how the treament works. The retainer/treatment changed my life - no snoring; I sleep well; my jaw is pain free; no headaches. I cannot say enough good thing about Dr Perkins.

Insurance pays nothing, even out of network and fees are extreme. He is nice and I don't question his knowledge, but after a $400 consultation and then a mouthpiece that would cost another $6,000, I did some research and found other companies that insurance does cover and they have similar mouthpieces, or have upgraded to a newer technology, for a fraction of the cost. Funny, when I mentioned the pricing I was quoted, several doctor offices knew who I had went to.

In addition to the qualitative improvements in my sleep and well-being, I've been able to measure and see for myself significant improvements in my blood pressure and blood oxygen over the CPAP therapy I was using previously. I'm getting quantifiable results, and I'm very happy with Dr. Perkins' appliance and service. Dr. Perkins puts a lot more effort and is far more hands-on in managing treatment than you see in the medical profession typically, and it's reflected in his results.
