After walking into another restaurant nearby and finding it understaffed, dirty, and facing more than an hour wait, we decided to give Perkins in Ankeny a try. What a great decision that turned out to be. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our server, Raven, came right over, took our drink order, and made us feel welcome. The highlight of our visit was how Raven treated my 11-year-old grandson.
