The food was horrible, 3 of us bill was 99.00 with tip. Fried pickles very greasy, pork chop thin and not much meat mashed potatoes cold. Steak and peppers mostly gristle. Husband very disappointed. Used to love Perkins but we will not be going back.
The food is fairly good here but the service is terrible. One day there will be waitresses and service help, and the next day there is a waitress shortage. My last visit I saw people waiting 10 to 15 minutes to be acknowledged and some customers left. A couple of months ago I saw a man who seated people and took cash. He was so efficient and friendly but I don't know what happened to him. I don't find this situation in other restaurants.
Food was good, staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately it smelled like wet carpet in the dining room, it could use some updating tables and chairs were well worn.
My Girlfriend recently suggested we dine at Perkins Lady Lake. Being from CT, I had never heard of this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and ambience. The REAL reason for this post? “Amber” our Server was wonderful! I grabbed a Manager “TJ” and told him how nice and accommodating Amber was. Keep up the GOOD work, don’t change a thing!
I am a caregiver that brings my client in on a regular basis. She always asks for Perkins coffee as it is "coffee not water". TJ and Amber are wonderful to her, as is the rest of the staff. The atmosphere is calm, and very friendly. The pot roast is her favorite. Thanks for always making her day.
