Food is always good, service is good for the most part. Needs some updates, a little more gears towards family's with kids, the restaurant seems cramped.
The food was good but when we were done with the meal there was nobody around. I wanted a piece of pie but there was no waitress for five to seven minutes. When the waitress did come we asked for the check and left fearing that if I did have a piece of pie she would not be back with the check. Poor service! 11/26/11 at 8:15pm.
The head manager has issues with something we ordered. He kept on walking by us scowling. I ordered Potato Pancakes and my wife ordered a Steak Dinner. The food was good for the money and the service was nice. However, the head manager kept sulking around our table scowling. We paid for our meal? I am unsure what crime we committed. One day I may ask or maybe, he is deluded.
I have gone to the East College Ave Perkins before, the food has always been mediocre at best. The last visit was the worst ever. The only reason i went to this Perkins is because it is a very convenient location, and that is where it ends. The food is over priced and under cooked. The portions are small, the omelets have very little meat, and i also found not one or two, but three HAIRS in my eight dollar omelet. A glass of chocolate milk costs $2.79.
