I bought a used boat from Scott at Perkins so far been great. I splashed it to find nothing wrong and I hope for a few good seasons out of it. Also he said bring it back I will winterize it store your battery’s and trailer and shrink wrap the boat etc. Good guys him Tim and his Dad. He is willing to work with me on payments and not want everything down at once which is definitely not money grubbing which someone else had said. A couple of weeks ago I had put my new boat in at the Essex public landing. Just as we reached Conomo point the boat stalled and we couldn't get it started. A charter fisherman was kind enough to give us a tow all the way down the river, and he was clearly going out of his way. He dropped us at the first ramp, which was Perkins. I didn't want to ask him to take us all the way to the town ramp, as he had already gone out of his way. I have my boat slip here. The staff is incredible. They care. They are courteous, polite, and very helpful. Bathrooms are always super clean. Love this place. Will be a lifelong customer if I can.
I purchased a boat that was kept at Perkins and Scott and Tim went out of their way to help get it loaded on the trailer and make sure everything was taken care of. Big thanks to these guys for all of the help and hospitality!
