Almost one hour delay. Nurse didn’t take vitals. Dr. Perkins did not have any idea about insurance coverage with UCSD. I have Moyamoya Disease which is rare and progressive. I don’t feel like this doctor is very knowledgeable or helpful. I miss my former neurologist Dr. Huott. It might be time to look for another neurologist.
Dr Perkins is very nice and personable. He has spent time to get to know Andrew, and since Andrew is non-verbal, Dr listens to us about things we see. We are glad he took over our case!
Great doc. I’ve been his patient for over 4 years with no issues. Always responsive and clear on next steps.
