Dr. Roger Hess was great at my gum surgery but when he removed a molar, he inadvertently left part of the root. I had to go back for more Novacaine, more pain, X-rays and delayed healing. They said they wouldn’t charge me, duh! When I asked for a reduction in a future cleaning, I never heard back. I didn’t think that was very nice.

I highly recommend Dr. Streem for your perio needs. He performed my gum graft in March 2025. His Mentor office is extremely nice and professional. Service is fast and pricing is transparent. I have experienced some residual soreness and concerns (more me, not his work), and he has been more than willing to help me. I'm confident he can help you too!

In the summer of 2023, I saw Dr. Streem as my gums were bleeding and my dentist recommended to see a periodontist and that deep cleaning may help. When I saw him the first time I told him of the problem. He took the depths of the gums and around the teeth and was poking that thing in between my gums hard. That made them bleed more and he told me I had "angry gums". They took x-rays. I had deep cleaning 3 times. The gums were still bleeding. I would have given 0 stars if it was an option. First of all the assistant was rude and unprofessional from the moment I sat in the chair. The dentist Dr. Streem did not talk me through the procedure knowing I was nervous, absolutely unprofessional and a lack of compassion. I wouldn't wish my experience there kn anybody!
