Brought new adopted rescue from Lollypop Farm for "free exam". The dog is 14lb ,2 year old small breed. He has been a mello guy at the house but was anxious as soon as we entered Perinton Veterinary Hospital. The Vet assured me "she had tricks" to deal with him; a muzzle. He was taken to another room (and yes I was asked if I'd be ok with that) and next thing I heard was what sounded like a terrorized child screaming. Yep, it was my dog. I take my cat Reiki here to see Dr. Gonzalez and am very happy to do so. Dr Gonzalez is very kind and gentle especially with dealing with a high energy exotic breed. She listens, offers support and respects advocating when concerns arise. Everyone in the facility from the staff at the front counter to the care staff have been so kind, friendly and welcoming. The facility in itself is clean. I noticed a perch in the exam rooms for cats to look out of the window and diffusers to aid in creating a calm environment which I liked... read more
