Misleading billing practices. Sent blood work to a lab that they said was in network and only a $250 copay. Turned out it was a $4000 dollar bill.
I visited Perinatal Associates of Santa Fe on Dec. 18. The staff required me to fill out and sign many papers detailing personal information and authorizing them to share medical records. My appointment began with a video call to a genetic counselor. After speaking with my husband and me, the counselor didn't see a need for a specific genetics test, however she recommended to test 100+ conditions, including the baby gender and down syndrome. Do not trust them! From the ultrasound to the diagnosis from the diabetic doctors. I had the worst experience and hardest pregnancy for no reason. I had to fight every step of my pregnancy and advocate for myself and my unborn baby. I passed my one-hour glucose test however I was told I was diabetic based on a test that can not be used to diagnose anything but be used as a tool to help aid with diabetes. I just had such a wonderful experience at Perinatal Associates receiving my first ultrasound for my first baby. The office was so clean and calm and everyone there was so nice! Our ultrasound tech was super informative and patient with our questions and talked to our baby the entire time. She truly made for an incredible and memorable experience that I will always remember.
They are absolutely amazing. Staff is friendly and so are the Doctor's. They actually listened to my concerns that I was having with my pregnancy and got me the help that was needed.
